Kartel Records Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian hip-hop record label, dealing predominantly in hip-hop/R&B music, founded by rapper/entrepreneur Joe Flizzow in 2005. In 2008, Kartel Records entered into a distribution agreement with Warner Music Group Malaysia, enabling the record label to market its artists to a wider audience.

On 17 September, Kartel Records and Universal Music Sdn Bhd have locked arms to form a new entity: Def Jam Malaysia and Def Jam Singapore. Def Jam Recordings is a legendary American record label focused predominantly on hip hop, pop and urban music.

To have the legacy of artists such as Joe Flizzow, arguably the most important name in the tapestry of regional hip-hop, combined with the panoramic reach and resources of UMG, as well as the storied lineage of Def Jam Recordings, marks a new era for the scene and culture not just in Malaysia and Singapore, but for the region as a whole.

You are bidding a limited edition Kartel Records Official Merchandise T-shirt from the early days since Joe founded Kartel. According to Joe Flizzow, they only printed 100 pieces just for their friends & families and not for sale. Joe only had two of them left and one piece is up for auction and all proceeds will go 100% to charity as Joe’s request.
